I was born in Louisivlle, Kentucky but shortly after moved to Elizabeth Indiana where I lived the rest of my child-hood thru teen years. I became a Christian in May 1984 and it has been a wonderful life changing experience.
In my ministry experience God has allowed me to travel the states and out of the country. Before Christ, I was rarley outside of my little child-hood community except for the trips to Louisville, Ky.
I went to Youth With a Mission in Lindale, Tx as a student in 1986 and then served on staff in 1987. It was wonderful experience for me and thorugh that ministry I was able to partake in several inner city minitries in Chicago, New Orleans and other cities througout the states. I was also able to travel to Trinidad West Indies for a month of ministry. Those experiences will always be a part of my life.
I graduated from South Central Highschool in Elizabeth, In 1985. After receiving the call into the ministry I continued my Chrsitian education at Wesley Bible College in Florence, Ms from 1988- 1991 where I received my BS in Pastoral ministries. I furthered my education by completing my masters degree (MACS) from Wesley Biblical seminary in Jackson, Ms from 1991- 1994
My preaching ministry really began in 1989 where I joined in partner with a friend of mine and we started a mission church in Canton, Ms for a short period of time. It was learning
experienced where we saw God provide when it seemed impossible.
My desire is to lead the small churches to strength and vitality. Many times there are great sturggles in the smaller churches but there are also great joys and wonderful celebration as we see the spirit of God move and revitalize.
I pastored in the Congregational Methodist churches from 1991- 2006. I was ordained in 1991. It was in my second church where I met my wife and was married in 1996 and she is the love of my life and wonderful partner in ministry. In 2006 we went through a major change in life which led us to the United Methodist denomination.
My pastor's heart leans toward a shepherd leader. I am passionate and tender hearted and love seeing people come to Christ but even more, I am wondefully blessed when I see one become a Christian leader and they lead peopel to grow in Christ.
All things are Possible through Christ Jesus who gives us the strength.
